My name is Samuel Lingrosso, and I am the founder of My Personal Dean.
I have spent my career working inside higher education as a professor, academic dean, and student affairs leader. Over the years, I have worked closely with students at every stage of their college journey, from first-time college students to transfer students, students facing financial aid challenges, and those working to recover academically.

What I have learned is that college success is not just about intelligence or effort. It is also about understanding how the college system actually works.
Through my experience in classroom teaching, academic leadership, student success initiatives, and institutional decision-making, I have seen both sides of the college experience. I understand what students are expected to do, and I also understand how colleges operate behind the scenes.

I created My Personal Dean to make the hidden curriculum of college easier to understand. Students need practical guidance on how to choose the right school, manage time, communicate with professors, navigate financial aid, use campus resources, and make decisions that affect their long-term success.

My goal is simple: to give students and families clear, practical, dean-level guidance so they can make better decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and move through college with confidence.
